IT Leads UK Recovery

ADECS, one of Coventry’s leading IT service companies, commented today that the latest market reports have found that greater emphasis has been placed upon IT investments as we emerge from these troubled times, and this looks set to continue.
Over the last year ADECS found many SME’s focusing on maintaining their balance sheet and profitability by cutting costs in certain departments with the use of new and emerging technology. The use of such technologies is enabling companies to ‘weather the storm’ and, equally important, to stand the companies in good stead once current market difficulties abate.
While new technologies and approaches, such as cloud computing, virtualisation and constantly improving mobile communication, will certainly help reduce long-term costs, the effects on the companys’ efficiency, in both monetary as well as user efficiency, will be evident in both the short and medium term.
Commented Amrik Bhabra ADECS’s Managing Director:
“Market reports are showing significantly increased optimism among IT buyers and in some unexpected quarters including airlines, banks, property and even transport. This is certainly creating greater demand that will continue to drive both distributors and manufacturers.”
“We are increasingly confident that the recovery has started in the Technology sector”
